sports bet

Köln - Bayern AWAY -1,0 @ 1,95 (money back when Bayern wins with a 1-goal margin)

Köln poor at home and normally should have no chance vs in-form Bayern. Even if they face an imp CL game in some days.

But attention: At Bayern centreback van Buyten is a very small doubt. If he really was out it would be a real problem for Bayern considering they also miss CN Demechelis. If you wanna go save, better wait for line-ups and check if he is playing.

No action

I played nearly no poker the last days, neither I was betting. Is it the cold weather? No, probably not. There were no interesting games going on and I wasn’t motivated at all to push something. The only half interesting one developed in a 15 minutes rushpoker session:

I raised with JJ and got called. Flop TJQ two spades I bet out and get called. Turn the spades 9. I check, opp checks. Turn another 9. I check again, he bets pot and I move in.
Now this opponent starts screaming down the chat:
- you dump fish, fucking idiot.
- How bad are you, such a donk!
- How can someone stupid like you still have money .. blablablabla.

When his timebank was nearly gone he folded.
Reflecting it I am not sure anymore, if he really meant me or maybe moaned about himself!?
I surely sucked out versus his flush or flopped straight but LOL. The money only went in when my hand was great, didn’t it? LOL

Something serious for your money

Okay, so I called this blog “blablabla … and everything sweet you can buy for money”. Why do I only post boring poker shit and sports bets that WIN. We need something where you can SPEND your dollars!

Hands up, the audience is listening. Here we go:

a 3D action figure of yourself!

This piece of shit is in fact something damn cool. You upload one, better two, photos of yourself and then the company uses them for a 3D model of yourself. This model can be adjusted by you. Different hair, more muscles, having a machine gun in your hand, everything is possible. You cannot only see it on their website in 3D but also order it as a real action figure!
This is so freaking. I have an action figure of myself on my desk where I don’t look like shit old too drunk Hell but like a young sporty man the girls love. My one minute of dreaming. Back to hard reality, bye bye.

P.S. The clown on this pic is NOT me. Don’t start asking. I wont post anything about my real look. It is too ugly.

Sense of life

I had a quick chat with a mate yesterday.
He: I am so bored with my life, I need to change something. I will stop drinking.
Me: I know the feeling, I am also so bored at the moment. That’s why I just started drinking again.

Why do you play if you dont enjoy it?

Some days ago I was waiting at a table after a long six-hour session just had ended. Giorgio came down and asked me why I wouldn’t join another table where a game was going on. I replied that table wouldn’t be top value and therefore I would be glad not to have to play. He replied with an in fact very logical question:

“Why don’t you just go out if you don’t enjoy playing now?”

It is the perpetual inner conflict of a gambling pro. Do you enjoy your life or do you go for maximum profits by working as much as possible?
Someone outside the gambling world will probably only see the moment: “This guy just won 3000 Euro. That’s as much as I earn in a month!! Why the heck doesn’t he just enjoy his life, soooo much money!”
I don’t want to start arguing being a gambling pro would be a hard life. That would be a lie. In a way it is living the dream. But one still has to care about the future (“ohhhh how uncool” I hear all the teens shouting now). Earning a lot of money now gives no clue at all about the future. In two years it all might be over. Many poker players and betting pros who won a lot six years ago cant compete at all today. They just don’t have the skills to beats todays much improved market anymore. The same will happen with many of the current pros. The poker games become so much tougher every year. More and more new pros join the cake and old-time fishes even improve to solid players themselves. I also always fear that sooner or later the lower limit ring games will be completely flooded by bots. In theory it is not hard to code a solid playing poker bot.

So guys, where will you be in two years? Having half a million in the bank sounds awesome but if you on the other hand cant win in poker/betting anymore and have no education – that’s no the dream life, I bet. After some years the money is spent and you basically sit on the streets with nothing.

Okay this is probably getting a bit too pessimistic but I like to outline that someone who goes gambling fulltime really needs to have a plan for the after-gambling life. Only a very tiny percentage of the pros really earned that much money that they are prepared for their living.
This is btw also the answer to the question Giorgio asked. Yes I sometimes don’t enjoy poker but it is my job. If there is a chance for a profitable game I have to take it. Just like I didn’t miss one single weekend with German soccer running since eight years or something. Holidays can wait for the time of soccer being in summer or winter break!

recommended sports book

Those who want to follow my bets but dont have a bookmaker offering my odds, or in general dont have any bookmaker with asian odds, should try the following book.
Pinnacle Sports is one of the most reliable books and their odds are great. Kind of exactly the same like IBC in asia offers (IBC is a big asian sports book).

sports bet

Atletico Madrid - Valencia OVER 2,75 goals @ 1,98

(we win half stake when 3 goals are scored and full stake with 4 goals).
Those who only bet at european books without asian odds can take over 2,5 goals @ 1,72+ instead.

The setup of this game is absolutely overish in my eyes. Both have their big strenght in offensive. Results like 3-3, 2-4 etc wouldnt surprise me. Atl key striker Aguero was a doubt but made it into the squad. Hopefully he will start from the beginning.
